Is it just me who lives with constant pain from a chronic illness I never asked for?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis as a teenager and have suffered ever since, despite medication, surgeries and even a hysterectomy. I’m left managing the symptoms with painkillers that make me tired and dizzy.

It affects every part of my life, and holding on to my sunny disposition is getting harder.
