Is it just me who struggles when people who have been hurt begin attacking an entire group?

No matter who the author is, it still looks like discrimination to me, and it mirrors the same thinking used by the group that caused the harm.

Words matter. How do we help people write about their experiences without turning their anger towards everyone?
