Is it just me who wishes people asked us to talk about the people we miss?

It was the ninth anniversary of my mum’s death, and although people liked the photo I posted, no one asked me about her.

In my experience, people want to talk about those they’ve lost. They are missed because they were loved, and never speaking about them makes it worse.
